Key Responsibility Civil Solar

Site Assessment & Preparation

Conduct topographical and geotechnical surveys.

Evaluate soil conditions and drainage for optimal panel placement.

Oversee land grading, trenching, and foundation work.

Structural Design & Engineering

Design mounting structures for solar panels (e.g., fixed tilt or tracking systems).

Ensure structural integrity under wind, seismic, and load conditions.

Collaborate with electrical engineers for integrated system design.

Construction Oversight

Supervise civil works including roads, fencing, and drainage systems.

Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Manage timelines and resolve on-site issues.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations.

Prepare documentation for permits and inspections.

Maintenance Support

Assist in post-installation inspections and civil maintenance of the site.

Address erosion control and structural wear over time.

Qualifications & Skills

Education : B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience : 2–8 years in solar or infrastructure projects, especially ground-mounted systems.

Skills :

Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and civil design software.

Strong project management and communication abilities.

Familiarity with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) workflows
