Senior Applications Consultant – Microsoft Edge

Location : - PAN India

Your Role

As a Senior Applications Consultant, you will be responsible for advising, implementing, and managing Microsoft Edge solutions across multiple markets. You’ll work closely with product, integration, and deployment teams to ensure technical readiness and service excellence.

In this role, you will :

  • Serve as Senior Applications Consultant for the product and service.
  • Engage with multiple markets on technical and deployment readiness.
  • Ensure ongoing service delivery and support meet agreed customer requirements.
  • Contribute to technical deployment strategy and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with Product, Integration, and Test teams to define new versions and features.
  • Resolve issues with Product, Test, and Deployment teams.
  • Define and document technical standards for new versions and features.
  • Provide technical support to deployment teams on and off site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consultation & Strategy
  • Provide expert advice on adopting and integrating Microsoft Edge to enhance business operations.
  • Develop strategies to leverage Microsoft Edge's capabilities, including Collections, Vertical Tabs, and Workspaces.
  • Implementation & Configuration
  • Deploy and configure Microsoft Edge across various markets, platforms, and devices.
  • Customize settings to align with business needs, ensuring accessibility and compliance.
  • Security & Compliance
  • Configure and enforce security features like Enhanced Security Mode, Tracking Prevention, and SmartScreen.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection standards using Edge’s built-in tools.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate risks and respond to vulnerabilities.
  • Integration & Optimization
  • Integrate Edge with client infrastructure across markets.
  • Optimize performance and troubleshoot functionality issues.
  • Ensure interoperability with legacy systems and other browsers.
  • Training & Support
  • Deliver training sessions for end-users and IT teams.
  • Provide ongoing technical support for Edge-related issues.
  • Develop documentation and user guides tailored to client needs.
  • Research & Continuous Improvement
  • Stay updated with the latest Edge features and trends.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through emerging browser technologies.
  • Provide feedback to stakeholders on upgrades and enhancements.
  • Your Profile

  • 3–5 years of experience in IT consultancy, with a focus on browser management and enterprise solutions.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Edge deployment and administration.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
  • Experience delivering solutions with 3rd party suppliers and offshore resources.
  • Familiarity with ITIL Framework for Service Design, Transition, and Operation.
