Designation : Senior Cloud Engineer - AWS

Experience : 7–12 years (minimum 7 years in cloud infrastructure / DevOps)

Location : Remote

Salary : Upto 70LPA

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to lead the automation, reliability, and performance of our AWS-based infrastructure. You will architect, optimize, and scale mission-critical systems while mentoring a global team of DevOps engineers. If Kubernetes (EKS) and Terraform are second nature to you, and you thrive on solving complex infrastructure challenges, we want to talk to you.

Key Responsibilities

Provision and maintain Amazon EKS clusters running production MongoDB and Elasticsearch
Deploy and operate Terraform-based infrastructure including networking, IAM, compute, RDS, Redis
Manage compute platforms (EC2, AMIs via Packer, Lambda microservices in PHP Bref runtime)
Build and optimize CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines with Groovy libraries)
Drive observability and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, New Relic)
Manage IAM, Secrets, KMS policies, and secure cross-account AWS integrations
Handle VPN infrastructure and access management for distributed teams
Lead root cause analysis and performance optimization across services
Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices

Required Experience and Skills

7+ years in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure (AWS focus)

Hands-on expertise with AWS services (EKS, Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Route53)

5+ years with Terraform for AWS and Kubernetes resource provisioning

5+ years Kubernetes (EKS preferred) with stateful workloads (MongoDB, Elasticsearch)

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is mandatory

Strong CI / CD exposure (Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines)

Deep knowledge of monitoring and observability stacks

Linux (Ubuntu preferred), scripting in Python, Ruby, or Bash

Nice to Have

PHP microservices on AWS Lambda (Bref)

MongoDB and Elasticsearch on Kubernetes

Automation using Packer and Ansible

Multi-account AWS architecture and cost control experience

Background in data pipelines or ETL

Education

B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science (or equivalent)

CKA Certification mandatory
