Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Systems (SAP PS) Consultant to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, customizing, and supporting SAP PS modules. This role requires deep knowledge of project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and integration with other SAP modules to ensure efficient project management and execution.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and developers to design, develop, and deliver solutions that streamline project operations and improve business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
1. SAP PS Implementation & Configuration :
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of the SAP Project Systems (PS) module.
- Design and configure project structures (WBS, networks, milestones, activities, and settlement rules).
- Set up project budgeting, forecasting, costing, and resource planning within SAP PS.
- Configure milestone billing, revenue recognition, and progress tracking .
2. Business Process & Solution Design :
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements .Translate business needs into functional specifications and propose optimal SAP PS solutions.Provide recommendations for process improvements and automation within project management workflows.3. Integration with Other SAP Modules :
Work closely with FI / CO, MM, SD, PP, and HR teams to ensure seamless data integration with SAP PS.Configure and support interfaces between SAP PS and external project management tools.Collaborate with ABAP developers for custom reports, enhancements, and user exits .4. Testing, Deployment & Support :
Prepare test plans and execute unit testing, integration testing, and UAT for SAP PS developments.Resolve incidents, analyze defects, and ensure smooth project cutovers.Provide post-go-live support and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for end-users.5. Documentation & Training :
Create and maintain detailed functional and technical documentation .Prepare training materials and conduct user training sessions .Required Skills & Qualifications :

Mandatory Expertise :
End-to-end implementation and support experience in SAP Project Systems (SAP PS) .Configuration experience in WBS elements, networks, milestones, resource planning, costing, and settlement .Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost planning, revenue recognition, and project forecasting .Hands-on experience in project progress tracking and reporting .Experience with integration points between SAP PS and other SAP modules ( FI / CO, MM, SD, PP, HR ).Good knowledge of LSMW, BAPI, BADI, IDocs, and user exits for customizations.Familiarity with SAP S / 4HANA and Fiori apps for project management is a plus.Additional Skills :
