Senior Python Developer - FastAPI

Job Brief :

At Protip, we are seeking a skilled Senior Fastapi Postgres Developer to join our dynamic team. As a senior back end developer, you will implement new features and maintain existing code and other standard tools in the Protip ecosystem. Your duties will include designing software solutions to meet our product requirements, maintaining and refactoring existing code, writing tests, and fixing bugs. You will ensure that back end APIs / components are modular, robust, easy to maintain, and perform well across various mobile apps / web-capable devices and browsers.

Responsibilities :

• Backend Development : Design, develop, and maintain backend applications / APIs using FastAPI.
• Database Management : Architect / Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and connections.
• Integration : Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend and frontend functionalities. Ability to consume third party APIs / publish APIs for third party consumption.
• Performance Optimization : Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Security : Implement security and data protection measures.
• Scalability : Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Coordinate with various teams working on distinct layers of the infrastructure, document the development work.
• Participate in team meetings and discussions to understand user needs and functionalities
• Perform code reviews and improve and maintain code quality
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure applications are current and competitive
