Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive L3 Support Engineer to join our technical operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, SQL, and Maven, and will be responsible for managing deployment activities, packaging, and patching in a production environment. This role demands deep technical troubleshooting, collaboration with development and infrastructure teams, and a commitment to maintaining system stability and performance.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide L3-level support for Java-based applications and services.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues related to application performance, data integrity, and system errors.
Manage and execute deployment activities across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod).
Handle application packaging and release management using Maven and related tools.
Apply patches and updates to applications and environments, ensuring minimal downtime.
Collaborate with development, QA, and Dev Ops teams to ensure smooth release cycles.
Maintain documentation for deployment processes, support resolutions, and patching schedules.
Monitor system health and proactively identify potential issues.
Required Skills :
Strong proficiency in Java, SQL, and Maven.
Experience with application deployment, packaging, and patching in enterprise environments.
Familiarity with CI / CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
Good understanding of Linux / Unix systems and shell scripting.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
