- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Visio for AV design is preferred.
Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Pre-Sales Consultant – Audio-Visual Solutions to join our growing team. The role involves designing and proposing end-to-end AV solutions for enterprise offices, boardrooms, auditoriums, training rooms, and large-scale AV deployments. You will work closely with the sales team and clients to deliver technically sound, value-driven AV solutions tailored to customer requirements. Responsibilities :
Customer Engagement and Solution Design :
Act as a trusted AV advisor to customers, understanding their business needs and AV requirements.Design and propose AV solutions (including video conferencing, projection / display, control systems, speakers, microphones, DSPs, etc.) tailored to customer environmentsDeliver technical presentations and live demonstrations of AV setupsConfidently attend virtual and in-person meetings with domestic and international clientsRequirements Gathering and BOQ Preparation :
Gather AV-related requirements from clients for boardrooms, training rooms, huddle spaces, NOCs, and large venuesTranslate technical needs into AV designs and create accurate BOQsPrepare accurate and comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on project requirements.Should be capable of generating BOQs from PDFs, AV drawings, or customer briefsTechnical Expertise and Product Knowledge :
Strong knowledge of AV systems including video conferencing, control systems, signal routing, displays, speakers, mics, amplifiers, and integration.Familiarity with OEMs like Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Cisco, Logitech, Shure, Poly, and othersStay updated with AV industry trends and best practicesMust be technically very sound and know industry best practices and standards.Provide technical support to the sales team during the entire sales cycleSales Support and Collaboration :
Work with the sales team to strategize, plan, and win AV projectsAssist in preparing responses to RFPs, technical proposals, and client presentationsCollaborate with OEMs and system integrators to build winning solutionsCertifications and Training :
Maintain relevant AV certifications and attend OEM training Should have valid OEM certifications.Continuously upgrade knowledge through training and development programsDocumentation and Design :
Create comprehensive documentation including AV schematics, layouts, and solution architectureProficiency in AutoCAD or Visio for AV design is preferredTravel and Customer Interaction :
Willing to travel at short notice to customer locations for meetings, site surveys, or workshopsInterface with architects, consultants, PMCs, and end clientsAttend industry trade shows, AV events, and conferencesQualifications :
