Role & responsibilities
Role Overview : The Junior Paraplanner plays a crucial supporting role in the financial planning process, working closely with senior paraplanners and financial advisors to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial advice to clients. Key Responsibilities : Research and Analysis : CondResearchancial products, market trends, and investment opportunities. Analyze financial data and prepare reports for clients. Client Data Collection : Assist in gathering and organizing client information, including financial statements, tax documents, and personal goals and objectives. Financial Modeling : Create financial models and projections to support the development of comprehensive financial plans. Compliance and Documentation : Ensure that all documentation and compliance requirements are met, including the preparation of Statements of Advice (SOAs) and compliance checks. Recommendations : Contribute to the formulation of financial recommendations in collaboration with senior team members. Client Interaction : Assist in client meetings and communication to address inquiries and clarify financial plans. Administrative Support : Provide administrative support to the senior paraplanners and financial advisors, including scheduling meetings and maintaining client records. Professional Development : Stay updated with industry regulations and best practices to support continuous learning and growth. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. A strong understanding of financial products and markets. Familiarity with financial planning software and tools. Excellent analytical and research skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to compliance. Certifications : It's often beneficial to pursue relevant certifications like the Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP) to enhance qualifications.
