Job description5+ years of experience in network engineering or operations, with a strong background in enterprise networking Deep knowledge of TCP / IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and switching technologies (VLANs, STP), MPLS Proven experience with network security practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting languages such as Python or Ansible Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, or equivalent Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure Networking) Experience in managing SDN (Software-Defined Networking) environments Proficiency in network design and implementation, including LAN / WAN technologies Experience with network monitoring and management tools, including SNMP and NetFlow Hands-on experience with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Arista

Responsibilities
- Design and implement network architectures that support high traffic loads and complex connectivity requirements
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues utilizing tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Nagios
- Develop and enforce network security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Lead incident response efforts for network outages, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues swiftly
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures, contributing to knowledge management and operational efficiency
- Mentor junior network engineers, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic planning and network enhancements
