About the Client : -
Our client is a leading manufacturer of lubricants, greases, brake fluids, coolants, based in the UAE with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and global expansion & is seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead the product development, quality assurance, and technical excellence of its Brake Fluid and Coolants Division.
Key Responsibilities : -
- Lead and oversee all technical, R&D, and production activities related to brake fluids and coolants.
- Develop and formulate new products in compliance with international standards (SAE, ASTM, ISO, JIS, etc.).
- Review and optimize existing formulations to enhance product performance, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
- Supervise laboratory testing, quality control processes, and certification procedures.
- Provide technical support to the sales and marketing teams for customer inquiries, tenders, and new market developments.
- Liaise with raw material suppliers for technical evaluation and sourcing of high-quality additives and base stocks.
- Manage a team of chemists, laboratory technicians, and production staff.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test reports, and material safety data sheets (MSDS).
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and global trends in automotive and industrial fluid formulations.
Requirements
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in lubricants manufacturing, with at least 5 years focused on brake fluid and coolant formulation & production.In-depth knowledge of additives, base fluids (glycols, inhibitors, etc.), and product testing standards.Proven experience in R&D, quality control, and technical leadership within the lubricants or chemical manufacturing sector.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Ability to work in a multicultural and fast-paced industrial environment.Key Competencies : -
