Job Title : Assistant Manager – Treasury
Role Description :
The Assistant Manager – Treasury will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's global treasury operations. This role involves close coordination with bankers, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient management of credit lines, liquidity planning, compliance, and treasury governance. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical skills, the ability to deliver accurate information quickly, and the initiative to take ownership in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This position requires high attention to detail, proactive communication, and a strong ability to work with cross-functional teams across geographies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead weekly cash flow planning and liquidity management to ensure optimal funds availability.
- Oversee fund management across multiple countries, ensuring timely movement and allocation of funds at the group level.
- Manage and maintain relationships with banks, lenders, and financial partners, ensuring compliance with all credit line requirements and establishing governance structures.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of covenant-related documentation (e.g., stock reports, UFC certificates) for financial institutions.
- Handle foreign currency conversions (INR / SGD / EUR / CAD / USD) to support business operations efficiently.
- Review short-term and long-term funding needs and collaborate with the Investor Relations team on financing activities such as loans, credit lines, private equity, or public equity initiatives.
- Manage currency forward contracts and other hedging instruments for risk mitigation.
- Oversee investment of idle funds in alignment with the company's investment policy.
- Maintain and update the bank approval matrix, ensuring timely updates and controls.
- Prepare monthly schedules related to investments and security deposits.
- Coordinate with banks for issuance of Letters of Credit (LC), bank guarantees, and related treasury instruments.
Requirements :
3+ years of experience in treasury management, banking, or corporate finance (experience with multinational operations preferred).Exposure to working with foreign clients, FIIs, or banks; prior experience in a multinational environment or startup culture is an asset.Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at various levels.Working knowledge of NetSuite or Oracle ERP systems.Strong execution skills with the ability to adapt, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to coordinate across functions such as Accounts, Banking, Customer teams, and LeadershipSkills Required
