Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Associates at DS Advocates located in Chennai. The Associates will be responsible for performing various Indirect Tax related work (GST & Customs) including drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing legal advice. The role also involves maintaining client relations, assisting in court proceedings, and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

Prior experience in handling GST compliance and advisory work (2-3 years)

Prior experience in handling Customs advisory and department related work

(2-3 years)

Experience in Client Relations and Court Proceedings

Knowledge of Indirect Tax laws

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks

Experience in the legal industry is a plus

Qualification (CA. / Lawyer / semi-qualified CA / graduate)
