Senior Financial Controller

Job Title : Senior Financial Controller - Construction Accounting

The Senior Financial Controller Construction Accounting will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial accounting functions within the organization.

This role requires a deep understanding of construction accounting principles, financial management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have worked in construction accounting / contractor accounting, with knowledge of % completion method of accounting and experience working on project profitability.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Oversee daily accounting activities, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare and Analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Financial Management : Manage the yearly audit and tax compliance process, ensuring complete and accurate information for tax preparers and auditors. Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Cash Management : Ensure control over actual expenses vs Budget and participate in cash management and forecasting. Provide management with vital information for decision-making.

Software Expertise : Oversee the use of Yardi, the organization's Property and Accounting software. Should have knowledge of preparing project profitability reports and percentage of completion method of accounting.
