About the Role

Proficiency in Java, including advanced features such as virtual threads, pattern matching, and records — technologies that are still in early adoption stages.

Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Kafka (V3 to V4), Azure.
• Deep understanding of JVM internals, including memory management and garbage collection tuning.
• Practical expertise in threading and concurrency, with the ability to write performant and resilient code.
• Comfort with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes, including Helm chart authoring, and the ability to design, adapt, and teach Kubernetes constructs.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana, and a solid grasp of tracing concepts (e.g., spans, trace IDs).
• Capability to translate business requirements into high-performance, resilient code with throughput and reliability considerations.
