Job description

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site SQL Developer with 2+ Years of experience.

Location - Thane / Mumbai

  • Develop and maintain optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support business applications and reporting.
  • Design, implement, and automate ETL workflows using tools like SSIS, Azure Data Factory , or scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) for data integration across multiple sources.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, BI developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Perform query tuning and database performance optimization to ensure high efficiency, low latency, and optimal resource usage.
  • Contribute to data modeling and architecture design , ensuring best practices for normalization, indexing, and data integrity.
  • Conduct peer reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, version control, and documentation practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers , fostering growth in SQL development, performance tuning, and database design principles

Preferred Skills :

  • Strong proficiency in T-SQL and experience with MS SQL Server or Azure SQL Database or Snowflake preferred .
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools (SSIS, ADF, Talend, Fivetran etc.).
  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts , data modeling (star / snowflake schemas) , and performance tuning techniques .
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps) and CI / CD for database deployment .
  • Experience working in agile or cross-functional teams .
