About Office of Outreach and Communications
The YIF Office of Outreach and Communications plays a critical role in shaping the public narrative of the Young India Fellowship. It engages prospective applicants, academic institutions, alumni, and other key stakeholders through dynamic digital and on-ground efforts. The office drives awareness and applications through thoughtful content, social media storytelling, campaign strategy, and institution-level outreach across cities. It also collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, including Admissions, Alumni Relations Office, Faculty and current Fellows, to highlight the YIF's academic distinctiveness, community life, and post-Fellowship pathways. Whether it's managing admissions campaigns, capturing the everyday life of the Fellowship, or celebrating long-term milestones, the office works at the intersection of communication, relationship-building, and mission-driven engagement.
Role Summary :
We are looking for a proactive and creative Assistant / Deputy Manager to join the Outreach and Communications Team of YIF at Ashoka University. This role involves supporting and leading the planning and execution of digital campaigns, social media content, and outreach events. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for engaging communication, a hands-on approach to content creation, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and external stakeholders. Prior experience with digital ads and social media boosts is a strong plus. The role will involve end-to-end ownership of projects, from ideation and strategy to content production, posting, performance tracking, and reporting. You'll be expected to contribute to campaign planning, manage timelines, and bring in fresh storytelling ideas that resonate with diverse audiences. Qualifications and Skills Required : Minimum Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field. Master's preferred.
Experience : 2–5 years of relevant experience in social media management, digital campaigns, or outreach roles.
