Sales Manager-Analytical Instruments (Pharma Industry)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer with experience in pharmaceutical industry sales and a strong background in analytical instruments. The role involves lead generation, customer engagement, technical discussions and driving sales growth across our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities :

Generate Leads and follow up on sales opportunities till execution.

Engage in technical discussions with pharma clients regarding analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, UV, Dissolution Tester, Spectrophotometer, etc.)

Prepare and submit accurate technical reports, offers and sales proposals.

Conduct field sales visits, demos and presentations across pharma facilities.

Work with managers for project-based sales opportunities.

Track sales targets, competitor activities and prepare rolling projections

Ensure strong customer relationships across departments (QA,QC,Production, R&D, Purchase).

Close orders for regular consumables and instruments.

Qualifications :

BE)B.Tech (EEE,ECE,EIE, Instrumentation) or B.Sc / M.Sc (Microbiology,Biotechnology, Chemistry,Life Sciences)

4-8 Years of sales experience in pharma analytical instrumentss is a must.

Skills Required :

Strong understanding of pharma instruments, applications and operations.

Excellent communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.

Ability to convince customers with logical and technical reasoning.

Self-drive, target-oriented and willing to travel.

Working Conditions :

Frequent travel within assigned territory (by bus, train or bike).

Flexibility to work late hours or holidays if required for client meetings / demos.
