Job title : ServiceNow ITSM Developer.

Experience : 6 to 10 years.

Employment type : Contract.

Duration : 6 months.

Location : Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow ITSM Developer to lead the design, development, and support of ServiceNow ITSM modules and integrations.

This role involves hands-on configuration, custom application development, service portal customization, and leading a development team in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, configure, and develop ITSM modules including :

  • Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, SLM / SLA, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog.
  • Now Mobile, Mobile Agent, Virtual Agent, Performance Analytics, Surveys & Assessments.
  • Predictive Intelligence and custom applications.
  • Build and customize ServiceNow Service Portals and user experiences.
  • Lead the ITSM Pro instance configuration and development, handling both major releases and routine enhancements.
  • Manage integration of third-party tools via REST / SOAP web services and IntegrationHub.
  • Provide solution leadership and team management, ensuring timely and SLA-compliant delivery of incidents, requests, and sprint deliverables.
  • Plan and execute automation and innovation initiatives in ITSM modules.
  • Conduct system architecture assessments, define specifications, and evaluate hardware / software compatibility.
  • Drive zero SLA failure by managing and prioritizing incidents, change requests, and bug fixes effectively.
  • Perform sprint planning, daily stand-ups, client demos, and requirement-gathering workshops.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery through effective code reviews, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Required Skills :

  • Minimum 6+ years of ServiceNow ITSM experience.
  • Proven experience in :

  • ITIL-based Service Management, Agile / DevOps environments.
  • JavaScript, HTML / CSS, Ajax, and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, etc.
  • Custom application development on ServiceNow.
  • REST / SOAP-based integrations and ServiceNow APIs.
  • CMDB design and management.
  • Service Portal customization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to lead complex development projects.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams and managing virtual delivery across disciplines.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Preferred Certifications :

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM (CIS-ITSM).
  • ITIL v3 / v4 Foundation Certification.
