Oracle Retail Technical Consultant

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Retail Technical Consultant with 3 - 8 years of hands-on expertise in Oracle Retail integrations and PL / SQL development.

The ideal candidate should have experience working on Oracle Retail modules (like MFCS, RMS, RPM, etc.) and be capable of developing and supporting complex data integrations across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain technical integrations across Oracle Retail applications and external systems.
• Work with Oracle Retail MFCS and integrate with boundary applications using file-based, API, and middleware-based patterns.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into high-performing PL / SQL code and Oracle Retail configurations.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and middleware teams to build seamless and scalable interfaces.
• Ensure technical documentation, code quality, and performance tuning best practices.
• Support UAT, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide post-go-live Skills :
• Strong hands-on experience in PL / SQL programming and performance tuning.
• In-depth understanding of Oracle Retail data flow and technical architecture.
• Proven experience in integrating Oracle Retail modules using :
• File-based integrations (batch jobs, flat files, etc.)
• RFI / Retail Functional Interface.
• API-based (REST / SOAP) integrations.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Retail modules like MFCS, RMS, RPM, ReIM, Allocation, etc.
• Familiarity with integration middleware tools (OIC, MuleSoft, etc.) is a plus.
• Good to have experience with Oracle APEX for application development or dashboards.
• Exposure to Unix / Linux environments and shell scripting is desirable.
