Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. As an SDET, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts for web and API testing using Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent tools.

You will design and implement test strategies, test cases, and plans based on technical and business requirements. Your goal will be to automate API testing to validate performance and functionality, perform regression testing, and identify bugs through systematic and exploratory testing.

Collaboration with developers is essential to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient issue resolution. You will also continuously improve test automation processes, tools, and techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in test automation for web and API applications
• Proficiency in Java or JavaScript programming languages
• Hands-on experience with web testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent tools
• Experience with API automation tools and good understanding of REST APIs

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is desirable. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills are essential. Basic knowledge of UNIX / Linux systems and scripting is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this role.
