S&C Coach - Hisar

Your Role : Strength & Conditioning Coach

• Reporting to the Head of Strength & Conditioning, you will facilitate the delivery of world-class strength & conditioning support as assigned to our core sports. Embedded in your sport and in close collaboration with our multi-disciplinary staff, you will strategise, innovate and implement means to develop the physical capacities of our athletes. Practical, open minded and forward thinking, you will tailor and drive the delivery to your sport aligned to key responsibilities and as outlined below;

Key Responsibilities :

1. Design, deliver and monitor evidence based physical training programmes based on the demands, capacities and goals of our athletes

2. Demonstrate excellent practical application of core strength & conditioning concepts

3. Work in conjunction with technical and support staff, supporting an holistic approach to the development of athletic performance

4. Collaborate with physiotherapy staff to maximise athletes’ physical condition throughout rehabilitation periods

5. Collaborate with physiology staff to ensure well aligned, physiologically directed programming interventions

1. Assume a significant role in the physical, technical and general development of athletes of varied age, experience and background under your supervision

2. Become a driver for the development of high performance strength & conditioning in India

3. Assist in the periodic on-site delivery to any of our diverse range of partner organisations and sports teams

4. Invest in and pursue your own CPD as strategised in conjunction with the head of strength & conditioning, other heads of department and lead technical staff

Minimum Requirements

1. Undergraduate degree in related field, preferably specialising in physical preparation of athletes

2. Industry recognised certification, ie. ASCA / NSCA-CSCS / UKSA-ASCC

3. Demonstrable experience in delivery to elite athletes / high performance athletic groups

4. Demonstrable experience in delivery to development athletes / athletic groups

5. Experience in injury rehabilitation practices and return-to-play protocols

6. Experience in practical use of athlete monitoring systems

7. Experience in practical use of testing & monitoring modalities

Desirable Requirements

1. Postgraduate qualification in related field, preferably specializing in the physical preparation of athletes

2. Experience in leading within-sport strength & conditioning delivery and task delegation to assistant staff members

3. Experience in combat sports, athletics & swimming

4. Experience in working abroad
