About the Role

is looking for a hands-on System Engineer Lead (Backend) to lead backend architecture, coding, and system delivery.

The ideal candidate will be capable of understanding client requirements, designing large-scale backend systems, writing clean and efficient code, and guiding a team of developers through the full development lifecycle.

While we welcome candidates from any strong backend background (Node.js, Java, Go, etc.), Python + FastAPI experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Engage directly with clients to define system requirements, data flows, and technical specifications.

Architect and implement backend systems, database schemas, and API integrations.

Write and review high-quality backend code ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

Manage backend developers and ensure consistent coding and documentation standards.

Prepare and oversee testing at all levels (unit, integration, and acceptance).

Handle system optimization, data migration, and deployment.

Collaborate with infrastructure, QA, and frontend teams for smooth system delivery.

Provide technical documentation, training, and maintenance support post-deployment.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, System Engineer, or Backend Lead.

Strong coding ability in one or more backend stacks (Python, FastAPI, Node.js, Java, Go, etc.).

Deep understanding of system architecture, database design, and API-driven applications.

Experience with Docker, Git, and CI / CD pipelines.

Knowledge of microservices, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous programming.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience managing small developer teams or technical projects.

Preferred Qualifications

Expertise in Python + FastAPI backend frameworks.

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Experience with enterprise solutions, ERP, or workflow automation systems.

Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS / GCP / Azure) and Kubernetes.
