Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
0 to 1 GT Setup : Build the General Trade vertical from scratch—developing the go-to-market strategy, identifying key markets, and establishing the initial distribution network.
Scale & Team Leadership : Transition from individual execution to building, leading, and mentoring a high- performing sales team to scale the GT vertical.
Market Expansion : Identify and onboard distributors, retailers, and channel partners to expand market coverage and penetration.
Sales Planning & Execution : Develop and implement monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans, ensuring achievement of revenue and distribution targets.
Process & Compliance : Establish robust sales processes, credit policies, and trade marketing activities to ensure smooth operations.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
Performance Tracking : Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and derive actionable insights to improve market share and profitability.
Qualifications & Experience :
6-7 years of sales experience, with at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience setting up a General Trade vertical from 0 to 1 .
Proven track record of scaling a GT vertical and leading a sales team to deliver growth.
Strong understanding of distributor management, retail execution, and market expansion.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
