Senior QA Engineer

Location : Bangalore

Mandatory Skill : Playwright-2 Years (TypeScript)-2 Years of Experience

looking for immediate Joiners

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI testing (using Playwright and Selenium) and API testing (using Rest Assured and other tools).
Create and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs, validating request / response, status codes, headers, payloads, and data integrity.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for automated and manual testing.
Perform end-to-end, integration, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and log bugs using tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
Contribute to the integration of automated tests into CI / CD pipelines.
Provide detailed test reports and quality metrics.
Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

5 yrs - 8 yrs of experience in QA automation.

Hands-on experience with :

Playwright (TypeScript)

Rest Assured for API automation (Java-based)

Postman or similar tools for manual API testing

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols.

Experience with test frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

Familiarity with CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

Version control using Git.

Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills
