Position Title :
SAP Functional Designer – Direct & Inter / Intra-company Procurement
Location : Zoetis ICC, Hyderabad, India
Primary Purpose
The SAP Functional Designer will focus on delivering and enhancing SAP ECC / S4HANA solutions related to Direct and Inter / Intra-company Procurement processes. The role includes gathering requirements, conducting detailed impact analyses, implementing solution enhancements, and supporting the global rollout and continuous improvement of SAP systems. The position will ensure alignment with business processes and industry best practices, while maintaining the quality and compliance of the solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Functional Designer for SAP ECC / S4HANA solutions related to Direct and Inter / Intra-company Procurement.
- Gather requirements, provide estimation, and conduct thorough analysis to identify all potential impacts for SAP enhancement requests.
- Work as a team member on diverse teams consisting of colleagues, consultants, and contractors.
- Train team members and help bring them up to speed quickly, ensuring they become productive members of the functional team.
- Quickly learn and understand existing business processes, integrating knowledge from multiple disciplines (e.g., SAP capabilities, industry best practices) to deliver optimal business solutions.
- Work independently to deliver multiple priorities in a dynamic, changing environment and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Experience working in international environments, balancing global accounting and local statutory needs.
- Review and analyze solution enhancement requests to determine complexity and provide resource and cost estimates.
- Develop, prototype, test, and implement SAP ECC / S4HANA Direct and Inter / Intra-company solution enhancements.
- Implement SAP MM IM WM configuration changes for approved change requests.
- Maintain all SAP / WRICEF functional documentation and ensure it is updated regularly.
- Conduct Unit, Integration, and Regression testing.
- Provide support for both global and regional systems and services.
- Work with business counterparts to ensure audit, SOX, and other compliance requirements are met.
- Identify and initiate process improvements, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
- Monitor and measure process compliance and performance metrics.

Education :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related field. A Master's in Business Administration (MBA), Operations Management, or Manufacturing-related discipline is preferred.Experience :
8+ years of SAP delivery & configuration experience, with a focus on MM, IM, and WM modules.5+ years of experience specifically with SAP ECC and S4HANA in Direct and Inter / Intra-company procurement processes.Experience with automated Inter / Intra-company supply chain processes (preferred).Proven ability to quickly understand and integrate existing business processes and apply industry best practices to produce optimal solutions.Ability to effectively work independently and coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills to navigate customer challenges and communicate solutions effectively.Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.Experience in the life sciences / pharmaceuticals industry is preferred.Technical Skills Requirements
Experience with configuration of SAP S4 HANA, ECC 6.0, MM, IM, and WM in the following areas :Purchase Order / Stock Transport Order creation and processing.Service Procurement Process.Variant Configuration, Serial Number Management, and Batch Management.S4 HANA Procurement / Sourcing Knowledge.Sales Order creation and processing.Inbound / Outbound Delivery Processing.Goods Issuing and Receiving.Intercompany Master Data and Invoicing / Billing.Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders.Outline Agreements and Scheduling Agreements.Procurement-related master data setup (PIR, Source List, Vendor, etc.).Approval strategies, Invoice verification, and Accounts payable.Knowledge of integration points with SAP areas such as SD, FI, APO, GTS, PP, Ariba, etc.Experience with complex custom programs and interfaces (preferred).Experience with WRICEF Functional Design.Test execution experience (Unit, Integration, Regression).Physical Position Requirements
Location : Hyderabad, India.Working Hours : 3 : 00 AM to 12 : 00 PM EST (ICC Second Shift).Weekend Work : Occasionally required to meet customer needs and minimize the business impact of changes.Travel : Expected to travel between 20-50%, depending on project demands.Time Zone Overlap : Some overlap with the EST time zone may be required during production go-live.Skills Required
