Senior Testing Expert

Subject : JD for Test Engineer Experience : 6 8 Years About the Role We re looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Testing Expert to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Agile methodologies, hands-on experience with GITLAB, and a passion for delivering high-quality software through robust testing practices. You ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, driving quality across multiple applications, and collaborating closely with development and product teams. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute end-to-end testing strategies across Agile teams. Develop and maintain automation frameworks like Cucumber / Playwright and Rest Assured frameworks Hands on experience in Java for test automation Design and implement API testing strategies to validate service integrations and performance. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define test plans, acceptance criteria, and quality benchmarks. Maintain test repositories and pipelines in GITLAB, ensuring smooth CI / CD integration. Analyse test results, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvement. Work closely with DevOps and product teams to align testing with release cycles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have Experience with Python for scripting Exposure to performance testing tools and methodologies.
