Job description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Asst Manager / Dy Manager (PTD - CDMM)

  • Well versed with processes - Forging, Gears, Con-Rod, Crank Shafts, Cam Shafts, Rocker Arm Assemblies, Machined Components, Hardware's etc.
  • Should be able to identify FTG (Fixture, Tooling & Gauges) requirement for new development
  • Should be able to calculate SBC and finalise technical sign off as per process flow
  • Should be able to manage and review the development as per time plan and project milestone with Suppliers
  • Collaboration with different teams like SQI, SSU, PCM, SCPC
  • Capable to do Material Management as per Project timeline and Milestones
  • Should be able to calculate Capex as per part requirement
  • Capable to identify current capacities at supplier and Gap in capacity w.r.t plan

Experience

5 to 10 years

Qualifications

Industry Preferred

BE / B.Tech Mech

General Requirements

  • Knowledge of Forging & Heat Treatment processes.
  • Knowledge of Forging tooling development and basic cost
  • Knowledge on relevant commodity supplier base including their capabilities
  • Knowledge of APQP, VPPAP & Quality systems
  • Good understanding of GD & T
  • Needs to be proficient in drawing evaluation and must have strong engineering expertise in relevant commodity.
  • Ability to design and develop economical manufacturing process to produce FTR components.
  • Knowledge of STA functions to carry PPAP at suppliers end, co-ordination with SQI for VPPAP closure.
  • Project planning, Time management, Execution Skills
  • Knowledge on project management
  • Knowledge of tax structure like GST, VAT
