Role Details

St Monica's Parish School is looking to appoint a passionate and dynamic individual to the role of classroom primary teacher. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of faith, a strong commitment to excellence in learning and will foster strong community relationships. The candidate will work closely with the Principal and other staff members to deliver informed teaching methodology that considers and engages the learning styles and experiences of each individual.Actively support and contribute to the Catholic Identity and Josephite tradition of the school.

This is a part-time, 0.4FTE, contracted position commencing at the beginning of the 2026 School year.

• Demonstrate a deep knowledge and understanding of the Australian Curriculum, and highly developed skills using contemporary, innovative and inclusive pedagogies, to support quality learning in the Primary Years.
• Be able to effectively differentiate teaching and classroom practices in order to support learners with diverse academic, social and emotional needs.
• Demonstrate an ability to develop positive relationships with staff, students and families.
• Demonstrate a commitment to student agency within the teaching and learning cycle.
