what will you do :
- as the risk program specialist, you will be responsible for optimising risk processes at CRED while working closely with internal and partner business teams.
- driving end-to-end delivery of credit risk transformation programs, including model deployment, policy execution / underwriting, portfolio reporting, and risk strategy implementations
- overseeing execution, and governance of risk initiatives across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets while mitigating risks, issues, and dependencies
- portfolio risk monitoring - continuously monitoring portfolio performance, segment-level delinquency, early warning signals, and recommending course corrections
- regulatory & compliance oversight - ensuring adherence to RBI / fintech / NBFC credit risk guidelines and internal audit requirements
- developing and governing KPIs and reporting frameworks for risk, collections, and partner programs, ensuring visibility into milestones, performance, and portfolio health
- setting up and improving processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including SOP design, automation of manual tasks, and creation of monitoring / controlling mechanisms
- driving a culture of continuous improvement by identifying gaps, implementing corrective measures, and ensuring high-impact activities are delivered within timelines and with measurable outcomes
- leading and mentoring team members, providing process improvement guidance, project intervention, coaching, and capability building
- updating SOPs and metrics based on performance analysis and supporting system / tech architecture upgrades to strengthen risk processes
you should apply if you have :
8+ years of experience in financial services (NBFCs / fintechs) across program / project management, credit risk, and operations, with strong exposure to stakeholder management and collaboration with tech and risk teamsproven experience in managing prioritization of risk tasks while balancing user experience and business requirementsa strong track record of employee development (including an emphasis on selection, retention and coaching)the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across functions without formal authoritystrong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify gaps and collaborate effectively with tech, product, risk, business, and leadership teamsproficiency in analytical and technical tools such as excel, google sheets, sql, python, pyspark, tableau, databricks, and powerbiexcellent written and verbal communication skillsSkills Required
