Purchase - Senior Engineer (Casting Components)

Are you an experienced procurement leader with strong expertise in

casting components

sourcing and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities

Perform sourcing and procurement of

casting components

(PAC, GAC, Cast Iron).

Manage supplier identification, evaluation, and development for

Grey Iron Casting, Pressure Die Casting (PDC), and Gravity Die Casting (GDC) .

Drive

cost optimization, commercial negotiations, and VA / VE initiatives .

Ensure timely procurement aligned with production schedules through

Infor ERP (or similar MRP systems) .

Collaborate with

Design, Quality, Production, and Finance teams

to resolve supplier quality / delivery issues.

Build and maintain supplier databases, performance metrics, and improvement plans.

Ensure compliance with

ISO standards, audits, and documentation .

Support strategic sourcing and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

B.E / M.E. in Mechanical Engineering

or related field.

6+ years experience

in procurement / sourcing in the manufacturing / engineering industry.

Strong technical knowledge of casting manufacturing processes.

Hands-on expertise in

costing, vendor development, and quality systems .

Proficiency in

MS Office and ERP systems (preferably Infor) .

Excellent

negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills .

Ability to lead with urgency, critical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.

Willingness to travel for supplier / vendor development.
