Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and independent

Hybrid

Cloud Infrastructure Architect

who can lead cross-functional discussions between core infrastructure and broader IT teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in enterprise infrastructure, hybrid cloud strategy, and cloud cost optimization. This role demands a proactive leader capable of designing secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud architectures tailored to diverse business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

Enterprise Infrastructure & Cloud Strategy

Demonstrate a solid understanding of

enterprise IT infrastructure

including Compute, Storage, Network, Security, Observability, High Availability (HA), Backup, and Disaster Recovery (DR).

Deep understanding of

Private, Public, and Hybrid Cloud architectures

across platforms like

AWS, Azure, and On-Premises environments .

Good conceptual understanding of

PCE (Private Cloud Environment) , VMware, NSX-T (hands-on deployment not mandatory).

Evaluate new product offerings from a customer and business value perspective.

Architecting and Design

Architect

multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions

with appropriate hyperscaler strategy.

Design

scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud infrastructures .

Establish technical

processes and policies

for infrastructure lifecycle (Design, Build, Implement).

Migrations & Repatriations

Lead and execute

cloud migration and repatriation

initiatives.

Define project scope, plan execution timelines, and guide teams through delivery of migration, build, and optimization projects.

Cloud Optimization & Cost Management

Analyze cloud spend using

PCE billing tools and public cloud billing consoles .

Drive

cost optimization strategies

by recommending Reserved Instances (RI), Savings Plans (SP), or Spot Instances.

Conduct

performance tuning

and recommend best practices to improve application and infrastructure performance.

Security & Compliance

Ensure that

cloud infrastructure meets security and compliance standards

and industry regulations.

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

Prepare and present

Management Information Systems (MIS) and project status reports

to senior stakeholders.

Maintain clear, concise

technical and process documentation .

Collaborate effectively with

internal teams and client stakeholders

to drive engagement growth.

Required Skills & Experience :

Proven experience in

cloud architecture design

and

multi-cloud environments

(Azure, AWS, On-Prem).

Deep expertise in

VMware, NSX-T , backup tools like

Veeam , and monitoring platforms such as

OpsRamp .

Understanding of

PCE billing (GL Metering)

and cloud cost governance.

Experience in leading

migration, repatriation, and optimization

projects.

Strong understanding of

enterprise networking and infrastructure components .

Excellent

verbal and written communication skills ; ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in

pre-sales / pursuit activities

is a plus.
