Job Summary
- Incumbent should have Experience : 08-10 years and completed at least 3 to 4 Implementation Project life cycle with end to end in Oracle Finance Modules like for General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Project Billing and Project Costing & must have exposure in India Localization including GST, TDS & TCS.
- Should have knowledge about strategic interface for the business for the purpose of implementation, configuring, solution design, and support through functional analysis, incumbent should have knowledge for creating extensions when there is GAP in core configurations. Work with application analysts from other verticals and consultants for EBS implementation projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Position is responsible for functional requirements definition, configuration, solution design, implementation and maintenance of Finance applications. The Senior Oracle Finance Functional Consultant will work with various Clients and business users in defining, prioritizing and executing application projects and enhancements. Additionally, the position will be playing a critical role of ensuring that Developers have adequate clarification and support on all business and functional requirements / specifications related to applications.
Job Responsibilities
Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications in system configuration.Configure, implement and support Oracle Finance modules, including General Ledger, Payables, Receivable, Assets, Cash Management, Project Billing and Project Costing and India Localization including GST, TDS, TCS.Provide expertise on bank reconciliation processes, asset management, procurement to pay (P2P) and order to cash (O2C) cycles with reconciliations.Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, business processes, functional designs and testing scenarios, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to best practices.Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues according to SLAs.Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between Oracle Financials and other systems.Ensure adherence to best practices, business processes, and accounting standards across Oracle Financials.Contribute to the preparation and execution of data migration activities, ensuring accurate mapping, validation, and reconciliation.Maintain excellent communication with stakeholdersCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, working within an Onsite- Offshore delivery model.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environmentEngage business users spanning multiple business units and ensure solid articulation of business goals and processes to ensure effective technology solutions.Engage business users to support all necessary clarification for the Project Team, Development Team and Production Support Team to design and implement an effective solution.Verification of feasibility of Business Users request functionality and business rules based on existing technical systems and data structuresAbility to create and present key requirements artifacts without direct supervisionScope DocumentsUse Cases, Functional designs and document configurationsDetailed Specification of Key Business RulesPlan for Activity with flow DiagramsBusiness Process Mapping Diagrams and DocumentationApplication Gap analysisProvide business and technical leadership and work with the IT Project Team to ensure that projects progress against expected timelines and alert project team to risks and issues related to IT solutions.Complete assigned projects in a timely and cost-effective manner and coordinate the tasks of internal and external resources where necessary to achieve required results.Ensures the security of clients confidential and proprietary information and materialsMay lead technical / functional teams or projects.Establish working relationships with others outside area of expertise.Solve complex problems; take a broad perspective to identify innovation solutions and develop new concepts, methods and techniques.Requirements
Must be Bachelor's degree Commerce / MBA-Finance / CA / ICWAI;08-10 years working environment as an Oracle Applications Consultant, System Analyst / ManagerExpert level knowledge of Oracle ERP Application functionalityExpert level knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, modules configurations.Strong knowledge on Finance processes.Advance skills in MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Has gone through 3-4 full lifecycle implementations for General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets.Combines strong business acumen / experience and deep IT knowledgeHas shown record of strategic project planning and client managementWorked with a broad range of diverse customers and stakeholders Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines.Experience with managing team(s) will add value.Skills Required
