Job description

We are seeking a dynamic finance professional to join our team as Deputy Manager / Senior Executive – FP&A, Commercial Analysis & RMU. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial planning, commercial performance analysis, audit support, and process digitalisation, with exposure to manufacturing operations and cost management.

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Lead financial planning and analysis initiatives focusing on commercial performance.
  • Conduct volume and contribution margin analysis at standalone and consolidated levels.
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Prepare and present monthly MIS reports to senior management.

Commercial & Profitability Analysis

  • Perform ROCE and product group profitability reviews.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers for PG-wise financial analysis and insights.
  • Track plant profitability and analyze sales and contribution variances.
  • Conduct budget vs. actual expense and cost variance analysis (price and usage).
  • Inventory, Cost & Audit Support

  • Manage ITR and slow-moving inventory analysis.
  • Coordinate statutory, cost, and internal audits ensuring timely compliance.
  • Monitor yield, material usage, and monthly expense performance vs. budget.
  • Support cost reduction, sourcing optimization, and CEP initiatives.
  • Digitalisation & Process Improvement

  • Identify and drive automation and digitalisation initiatives in finance processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline reporting and analytics.
  • Maintain project documentation, risk tracking, and communication alignment.
  • Required Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent understanding of finance, accounting, and commercial principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and SAP (mandatory).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Commercial acumen with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Preferred Background :

  • Experience in manufacturing, chemical, pharma, or process industries.
  • Exposure to cost accounting, FP&A, and plant commercial operations.
  • Prior experience in digitalisation or process automation initiatives.
