Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, the Software Engineer designs, develops, analyzes, and maintains high-quality software product applications. This position is located in Trivandrum.

Responsibilities & Deliverables

Your deliverables as a Software Engineer will include, but are not limited to, the following :

Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.

Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code under guidance.

Tests, debugs, analyzes and fixes application problems / issues. Works closely with stakeholders to fix issues in a timely fashion.

Follows the software development lifecycle process.

Interacts with internal stakeholders to support product releases and / or resolve program problems.

Other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Experience

2-5 years of hands-on software development experience including design and development.

Experience with Angular 2+, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, Modern UI / UX principles, Bootstrap, Material Design preferred.

Familiarity with .NET Microservices, ASP. NET Core, MVC, Web API, SQL, Microsoft Azure PaaS, Service Fabric, C#, PowerShell preferred.

Financial Industry Experience Preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.

Ability to troubleshoot and solve basic to moderately complex technical issues with support.

Strong technical, analytical, and development skills.

Strong willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Intermediate knowledge of required programming languages.

Effective verbal and written communication skills; Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to support product releases and enhancements.

Ability to work independently or within a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
