What You'll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers focused on developing scalable and robust platforms.
  • Drive the design, development, and deployment of highly available and performant backend systems.
  • Ensure the reliability and scalability of infrastructure through cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes-based deployment models .
  • Implement best practices in software engineering , including code reviews , testing , and continuous delivery .
  • Design and build infrastructure abstractions to improve platform usability and increase developer productivity.
  • Champion a culture of operational excellence , with a strong focus on monitoring , observability , and incident response .
  • Leverage AI and agentic technologies to introduce intelligent automation such as AI-powered autoscaling and system self-healing .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and operations to align on goals and deliver outcomes.
  • Take full ownership and accountability for the team's deliverables, ensuring they align with Intuit's strategic goals.
  • Identify and remove roadblocks to enable the team to operate with speed and agility.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 12+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on building and scaling large, complex systems .
  • Proven success in leading and managing software engineering teams in high-impact environments.
  • Strong foundation in software development methodologies and engineering best practices.
  • Deep technical expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration .
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
  • Experience building infrastructure abstractions that improve developer experience.
  • Familiarity or interest in AI and agentic technologies for system automation.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • A passion for building high-performing, inclusive, and empowered teams .
