Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with business and product goals.
- Continuously improve testing efficiency through automation and process optimization.
- Ensure best practices in test automation, CI / CD integration, and defect tracking.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing technical guidance and coaching.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure robust and testable software.
- Own release readiness, ensuring that new features meet high-quality standards.
- Track and report quality metrics, defect trends, and test execution progress.
- Provide clear and timely updates to stakeholders on QA efforts and software readiness.
- Lead test automation efforts, execute test cases across various testing types, and collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality software.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in QA and testing, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous software quality improvements.
- Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Foster collaboration between quality, engineering, product management, and other teams to establish seamless quality processes.
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 4+ years in a managerial or lead role.Strong expertise in test automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, etc.).Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with other languages is a plus.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Expertise in CI / CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
