Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with experience in the manufacturing industry to join our team at Gamut HR Solutions in Hyderabad. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4-6 years of relevant work experience. If you have a strong background in cost accounting and are proficient in Tally ERP and manufacturing industry practices, we invite you to apply.

Qualifications and Skills

Expertise in cost accounting with a proven track record in the manufacturing industry (Mandatory skill).
Proficiency in the use of Tally ERP software for managing financial transactions and statements (Mandatory skill).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.
Experience with inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock records and optimize inventory levels.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial reporting and compliance.
Ability to prepare budget forecasts and financial planning in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of cost management and reduction techniques within manufacturing operations.
Excellent analytical skills to identify financial discrepancies and provide corrective action plans.

Roles and Responsibilities

Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts.

Conduct variance analysis between budgeted and actual results for decision-making.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory and conduct regular audits.

Work collaboratively with manufacturing teams to understand cost behavior and implement cost-control measures.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal controls in financial reporting.

Develop and implement best practices for financial reporting within the organization.

Provide strategic financial insights to management for driving business objectives.
