Description

We are an investment manager managing 5 SEBI registered Alternative Investments Funds (AIF) with asset under management of Rs.180 cr. We are seeking a detail-oriented Investment Analyst with 3-8 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore purely on contract basis for 3 years . The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing investment opportunities, preparing reports, and assisting in the development of investment strategies. Candidates with prior experience in Venture Capital industry and AIF Manager certification from NISM will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Deal Sourcing, scrutiny of applications, conduct appraisal / due diligence of startups, business plan analysis, market research, competitor benchmarking, talent gap identification and assist top management in preparation of detailed notes to the investment Committee, investors / subscribers of various funds under management, and also perform a variety of administrative / support duties.
Conduct thorough analysis of investment opportunities and market trends.
Preparation of Detailed Investment Appraisal report on identified startups
Prepare and present detailed reports on investment performance and recommendations.
Assist in the preparation of compliance reports to SEBI, investors and portfolio management.
Collaborate with other team members to evaluate risks and returns on potential investments.
Monitor economic and financial developments to support investment decisions.

Skills and Qualifications

MCom or MBA or CFA or CA with emphasis in Finance, Investment in Startups, Financial Analysis or related field.

AIF Certification from NISM is an added advantage

Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting findings to stakeholders.

Knowledge of financial markets and investment products, including stocks, bonds, and alternative investments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis software.

Education

Master of Commerce (M.Com)
