Senior Financial Planning Expert

Job Summary

The Senior Financial Planning Expert supports operational project teams financially throughout the project life cycle.

Main Responsibilities :

• Supports project teams in all financial aspects of running a clinical trial.
• Assists in preparing monthly invoicing worksheets, source documents for client invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Performs variance analysis comparing forecasted revenue to actual revenue to identify gaps and changes in scope.
• Reviews work orders and change order budgets to help identify out-of-scope activities.
• Provides support to Managers and Vice Presidents in contract document preparation.
• Collaborates with Accountants to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and general ledger functions.

Qualifications and Skills :

Preferred Qualifications : CRO industry experience.

Key Competencies : Working knowledge of project life cycles, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger. Strong Excel and PC skills. Ability to learn quickly and good communication and interpersonal skills.
