Email Security Implementation Engineer - Proofpoint Practice

Location : India (Initially work from office , later may shift it to : 4-8 : Full-Time ( General : Cybersecurity / Email Security / Threat the Role :

We are building a dedicated practice for Proofpoint implementations as an official Proofpoint Service Partner. We are looking for skilled engineers with experience in email security platforms who can be trained to deliver high-quality Proofpoint deployments, configurations, and support for our global clients. This is a great opportunity to work on enterprise-grade cybersecurity products and become an early member of a fast-growing security practice. The dealing is going to be for the Indian Market.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in the deployment and configuration of Proofpoint solutions (e.g., Email Protection, TAP, DLP, Security Awareness, etc.)
• Work closely with clients to understand security needs, design appropriate configurations, and ensure successful implementations
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email flow, phishing, malware, encryption, and policy enforcement
• Work with internal teams and Proofpoint support to escalate and resolve complex problems
• Maintain documentation and support handover materials for clients
• Participate in training programs and certifications to gain Proofpoint Skills & Experience :
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with email security or cybersecurity solutions
• Prior experience with any of the following tools : Mimecast, Cisco Secure Email (IronPort), Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Symantec / Broadcom, Barracuda, Trend Micro, Fortinet, etc.
• Understanding of email protocols : SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC
• Strong understanding of networking concepts
• Familiarity with email routing, filtering, and encryption
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace environments
• Excellent communication and client-facing (but not mandatory) :
• Exposure to Proofpoint solutions (e.g., admin console, policy configuration, TAP, DLP)
• Knowledge of cyber threat vectors, phishing techniques, and remediation
• Experience working with SIEM or SOAR platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
