Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Shopify Developer. The Shopify Developer will be responsible for creating and customizing Shopify themes, integrating third-party applications, developing custom functionalities, and troubleshooting issues. Daily tasks include working closely with the design and marketing teams to implement new features, optimizing website performance, ensuring a seamless user experience, and maintaining up-to-date documentation.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Shopify development, theme customization, and app integrations

Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language

Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript / jQuery.

Ensure cross-browser and device compatibility with responsive designs.

Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and performance.

Implement third-party APIs, payment gateways, and advanced integrations.

Familiarity with eCommerce principles and best practices

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and remotely

Experience with WordPress websites is a plus (themes, plugins, custom post types, page builders).

Experience with Webflow, Wix is a plus.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
