Role Summary

  • The Senior Manager – SAP DRC will lead the implementation, maintenance and optimisation of the SAP Document & Reporting Compliance ('SAP DRC') / digital compliance / e-invoicing solutions within the organisation. You will drive compliance with regulatory mandates (local & global), ensure seamless integration of e-invoicing & e-reporting within SAP landscapes (ECC & S / 4HANA), collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Tax, IT, Audit) and steer process optimisation, technology adoption and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP DRC / digital compliance / e-invoicing / e-reporting solutions across the organisation (SAP ECC and S / 4HANA). EY Careers+2Apna+2
  • Work with Finance, Tax, IT, Audit and other key functions to understand regulatory requirements (local & global), ensure solution meets compliance needs, and stay abreast of changes in e-invoicing, e-reporting and digital tax mandates. Apna+1
  • Design and configure SAP DRC modules and integrate with relevant SAP modules (FI, SD, MM) and external bolt-on solutions (e.g., Edicom, Pagero, Sovos, Vertex). EY Careers+1
  • Conduct workshops with stakeholders to capture business requirements, identify gaps, design blueprint and configuration for DRC / e-invoicing. Apna
  • Manage and optimise process flows for e-invoicing, electronic document submission, compliance monitoring, reconciliation and reporting. EY Careers+1
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure solution updates, coordinate with Tax / Legal teams and ensure correct system configuration and documentation. EY Careers
  • Drive continuous improvement : automate, streamline invoicing / reporting processes, reduce manual interventions, improve accuracy and efficiency. Apna
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to junior team members or consultants working on DRC projects; manage internal / external resources and vendors.
  • Manage risks, issue resolution, escalations and ensure minimal disruption to business operations related to invoicing / compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation : process flows, configuration guides, testing scripts, training materials, compliance manuals. EY Careers
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensure knowledge transfer and effective adoption of new processes and systems.

    • Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or related field.
  • Extensive experience (typically 10-14+ years) in SAP domain in functional / technical roles (e.g., FI, SD, MM) with strong exposure to DRC / e-invoicing / e-reporting. EY Careers+1
  • Proven track-record of multiple full-cycle SAP DRC / e-invoicing / digital-compliance projects across SAP ECC and S / 4HANA. EY Careers
  • Strong configuration experience in SAP S / 4HANA (DRC), integration experience (SAP BTP, cloud / on-premises), and experience with third-party bolt-on solutions. Apna
  • Sound knowledge of indirect & direct tax compliance, e-invoicing legislation, regulatory reporting requirements across geographies. EY Careers
