Description
Position Purpose :
To manage customer development based in a major city in the North / West / South of India, servicing the Indian market.
Major / Key Accountabilities :
- Retain and grow the business at major FMCG emitters, distributors, and automotive customers.
- successfully manage pilots or trials at customers
- monitor market information to alert CHEP to opportunities and competitive threats.
- delivery & implementation of effective communications and presentations to the Indian market to promote CHEP managed re-useable and returnable supply chain packaging solutions
- develop and execute special pooling equipment projects within local customer programs.
- develop and manage detailed project plans that incorporate cross-functional tasks and resources.
- explore solutions for existing and new customers.
- design solutions for pallet flows and automotive business.
Measures :
Setting up New Customer Accounts in CHEP systemsLiaison with customers to study their Supply chain and conduct successful trials.Help customers / Business Development team to determine the right product mix based on the Supply Chain evaluation at the customer end.Liaison with the Supply Chain Team to ensure that the deliveries are made to the customer on time and of the required specifications and qualityValidate the pricing information every month to ensure that the customer is paying only for the services being utilized.Create and drive multi-functional teams to support Programs : program management, customer service, logistics, operations, asset management, finance, sales etc.Monitor and ensure profitability and key performance indications for customer programs.Develop and implement programs to ensure optimum utilization across the network.Ensure functional support across India for each program from development through to launch and into an ongoing service provision.Work with the sales team to profitably grow accounts and create flow solutions.Experience :
8 – 10 yrs. in sales and marketing, with a preference for Supply Chain industry experienceAchieved sales growth for major customers.Preferred Education
