Safety Engineer

Location : Mumbai, Maharashtra

Experience : 1–2 Years

Qualification : Diploma in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety

Salary Range : ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Safety Steward to support our site safety operations in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all safety standards, assist in implementing safety policies, and promote a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.

Conduct routine safety inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.

Assist in the identification and mitigation of potential hazards and unsafe practices.

Support the Safety Officer / Manager in maintaining safety documentation and records.

Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by all site personnel.

Report and assist in investigating accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.

Help implement emergency preparedness and response plans.

Promote safety awareness among workers through training and on-site communication.

Requirements :

Diploma in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety (mandatory).

1–2 years of relevant experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial safety roles.

Good understanding of safety rules, hazard identification, and risk assessment.

Strong communication and observation skills.

Ability to work in a team and maintain discipline on site.
