Job descriptionSet up and customize modules like GL, AP, AR, FA, and Project Accounting to align with construction-specific financial workflows. Ensure accurate tracking of project expenses, budgets, and forecasts by integrating financials with project management systems. Manage financial period closures, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure timely and accurate financial statements. Maintain system configurations and documentation to meet internal controls, tax regulations, and audit requirements. Provide functional support to finance teams by diagnosing and resolving issues related to transactions, reporting, and integrations. Conduct workshops and training sessions for finance and project teams and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders for smooth operations.
Skills
- Deep knowledge of modules like General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management tailored to construction industry needs.
- Ability to analyze and streamline financial workflows such as procurement-to-pay, project accounting, and asset capitalization in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Skilled in integrating Oracle Financials with project costing and billing systems to track budgets, expenditures, and profitability across construction phases.
- Proficient in configuring Oracle Fusion applications, managing setups, and customizing financial reports to meet company-specific requirements.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, tax structures, and audit requirements relevant to infrastructure projects, ensuring system compliance and data integrity.
- Capable of working with finance teams, project managers, and IT departments to ensure smooth adoption, and providing training and support for end-users.
