Experience Required : 6–10 years in Valuation or related fields

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Valuation Professional to join our dynamic Valuation & Advisory team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, solid experience in performing and reviewing business valuations, and the ability to manage client relationships and junior team members.

Key Responsibilities :

 Lead and execute complex business and asset valuations for a variety of purposes including financial reporting, mergers & acquisitions, tax, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making.

 Develop financial models including DCF, market comparables, precedent transactions, and other valuation methodologies.

 Oversee valuation engagements and ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs in a timely manner.

 Review and validate financial models prepared by analysts and associates.

 Prepare and present detailed valuation reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

 Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining and developing strong relationships.

 Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members; assist in their technical and professional development.

 Work cross-functionally with audit, tax, M&A, and legal teams as needed.

 Stay current on industry trends, accounting and valuation standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, IVS, etc.).

 Support business development activities including proposal development, pitch presentations, and client meetings.

Key Requirements :

 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

 Professional qualifications such as CFA, CA or similar preferred.

 6–10 years of relevant experience in business valuation or financial advisory

 Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is a must.

 In-depth understanding of valuation methodologies and industry standards.

 Experience in handling regulatory valuations (e.g., Purchase Price Allocation, Impairment Testing) is a plus.

 Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.

 Ability to manage multiple engagements and work under tight deadlines.

 Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and supervise junior staff.

Preferred Experience Areas :

 Financial Reporting Valuations (PPA, Goodwill Impairment)

 M&A and Transaction Advisory Support

 Start-up / early-stage company valuation

 Valuation for fundraising, ESOPs, or tax compliance

 Valuation of derivative instruments

 Exposure to multiple sectors such as Tech, Healthcare, Industrials, etc.
