Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Automobile / Aerospace Engineering or a
related field.
Minimum 15+ years of experience in combat vehicle running gear and its componentsdesign and development, preferably in the defense or military vehicle sector.
In-depth knowledge of NATO STANAG 4569 standardsExperienced combat vehicle suspension system designProficiency in CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, UG Nx SolidWorks) and simulation software (e.g.,LS-DYNA, Abaqus, Hyper Mesh)..
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance (if required).Preferred

in Combat Vehicle Running Gear / suspension system Design to lead and support the
development of advanced mobility systems for tracked and wheeled military platforms. The
ideal candidate will possess deep domain expertise in suspension systems, track assemblies,
road wheels, torsion bars, shock absorbers, and related subsystems, with a proven track
record in defense or heavy vehicle industries.
Key
Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of running gear systems for combat vehicles, ensuringoptimal performance, durability, and survivability in extreme environments.
Provide technical guidance across concept development, detailed design, prototyping,testing, and production phases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including structural, propulsion, and controlsystems engineers to integrate running gear seamlessly into vehicle architecture.
Define and validate system requirements, performance metrics, and compliance withmilitary standards (e.g., MIL-STD, STANAG).
Conduct failure mode analysis, root cause investigations, and implement designimprovements.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge transfer within the organization.Interface with clients, defense agencies, and OEMs to align design goals with operationalneeds.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies in mobility systems, materials, and manufacturingprocesses.
