About the Role

We are looking for a

Senior Wireless Network SRE

to ensure the reliability, scalability, and automation of our enterprise Wi-Fi networks. This role combines deep wireless expertise with a strong

SRE mindset , focusing on operational excellence, network automation, and observability.

Key Responsibilities

Own the reliability and performance of enterprise Wi-Fi networks (802.11ac / ax).

Manage

Mist, Cisco, or Aruba Wireless Controllers

and APs.

Drive

network automation

using Python, Perl, or Bash.

Monitor network health using

Prometheus, Grafana, Netbox / Nautobot, Alertmanager .

Conduct RF design, site surveys, spectrum analysis, and optimize coverage.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for production readiness and operational improvements.

Educate and support network teams to build self-service and sustainable operations.

Required Skills & Experience

9–13 years of experience in

wireless networking, SRE, or network operations .

Expertise in

Wi-Fi standards

– 802.11ac / ax, WPA, RADIUS, EAP, 802.1X.

Hands-on experience with

Mist, Cisco Wireless, Aruba , or similar WLAN controllers.

Strong understanding of

TCP / IP, IPv4 / IPv6, BGP, VPN, L2 switching .

Scripting experience in

Python, Perl, Bash

for automation.

Familiarity with

network monitoring and observability tools .

Good troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

Exposure to

Mellanox or Cumulus Linux .

Experience with

synthetic monitoring tools

(UXI, Signal7, Wyebot).

Knowledge of

WLAN security frameworks

like Cisco ISE.

Previous experience in

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

roles.
