We are seeking experienced and dynamic Business Development – Assistant Manager on behalf of our client in Tour and Travel Industry across various cities. This is an on-site role requiring expertise in B2B travel sales, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the leisure travel market.
About the Role
Responsibilities
- Agent Onboarding & Evaluation
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard tour operators and travel agents specializing in specific destinations as per business requirements.
- Ensure onboarded agents demonstrate a strong supply, expertise, and reputation for their assigned destinations.
- Conduct agent verifications to maintain quality standards and compliance with company policies.
- Relationship Management & Support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, serving as their primary point of contact.
- Resolve agent blockers or challenges in collaboration with the Head Office.
- Conduct regular reviews and provide ongoing support to ensure agent satisfaction and productivity.
Qualifications
MBA degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or related field (MBA Preferred)Minimum 2-4 years of experiences in travel industry.Strong interest or exposure to the travel and tourism sectorExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsConfident, energetic, and self-motivated with a passion for salesAbility to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environmentProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Required Skills
