Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
- Update and maintain the books of accounts and ledgers
- Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
- Ensure correctness and accuracy of accounts at all times
- Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
- Knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements
- Monitor any variances from the projected budget, accounting systems and processes.
Required Qualification & Experience :
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or commerceAny additional Post Graduate Certificate or Degree will get added preference.At least 6 months of US bookkeeping experience would be an added advantage.Competencies :
Should have knowledge of US accountingWorking experience of Quickbooks and other software applications for accounting for US entitiesAccounting knowledgeUnderstanding accounting best practicesKnowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, or another accounting frameworkHigh attention to overall accounting systems & processesProficiency in Microsoft Excel
Produce work with a high level of accuracyPeriodical reconciliation, confirmation and cross verification of vender accountsShould have a good understanding of financial statistics and US accounting principlesExperience in software like Sage and Microsoft Dynamic will be an advantage.Please note that the offer shall be commensurate with the qualifications, experience and shall be comparable with the industry norms.
